Beijing impression - March 2009

Beijing has changed so much, so much that I don't recognize her anymore. It doesn't feel like my home town anymore, it is almost becomes intimidating ... I can't believe that I am using that word, but that was what I felt lots of the times when I was there.

Subway goes every where, very clear direction and signs, auto ticketing... it is totally the best subway system that I have taken. (I didn't ride it during the rush hour though)

architecture gymnastic, - my mom's comment on all those crazy new buildings. Beijing has opened herself for imagination and craziness. "you can do it even if you can't imagine it"
